How much does admission cost?

Admission to the Museum is free though some exhibitions may carry a small entry fee. See what’s on for more information.

Do I need to book tickets?

Booking is not essential for admission to the museum, but we are encouraging pre-bookings to the Museum to avoid disappointment.

Does the Museum have toilets?

We are part of the community toilet scheme. Our facilities open to both customers and members of the public. These toilets are regularly cleaned and sanitised.

Is the Museum available to hire?

How is the Museum dealing with COVID?

The Museum of Gloucester has achieved the ‘We’re Good to Go’ industry standard certificate. This means we can provide a ring of confidence to our customers that we have done everything needed to make your visit safe and enjoyable.

Is the Tourist Information Centre open?

The TIC is no longer at the museum, although we do still have a number of leaflets in the shop/café area of the museum. We are however happy to answer all local tourism enquiries in person, over the phone and by email.
