Kids and their families are invited on a very special adventure at the Museum of Gloucester this summer holiday. The Magic Faraway Tree is a free spotter trail from Kids in Museums and Blyton Books, celebrating Enid Blyton’s much loved children’s book series. The book has recently inspired a hit family film, which sees children embarking on an adventure to a variety of magical lands.
Each stop on the trail invites children and their families to explore some of the different worlds of the Magic Faraway Tree – from the Land of Topsy Turvy to the Land of Presents! Expect fun drawing and writing activities, plus prompts designed to spark conversations about what you’ve encountered in the museum. Complete the activity sheet to receive your Magic Faraway Tree Museum Adventure sticker!
There’s also a special drawing competition. Share your artwork on Instagram or BlueSky with the hashtag #MFTAdventure and tag @kidsinmuseums for a chance to win some fantastic prizes, including a Double National Art Pass Plus Kids courtesy of Art Fund, plus an Enid Blyton book bundle.
