Discover the joy of crafting with local artist Katie Taylor at the Museum of Gloucester's Derby Button Craft Workshop! In this hands-on workshop, participants will have the opportunity to create their own unique Dorset Button to take home. Led by the talented artist Katie Taylor, attendees will delve into the art of freehand embroidery, crafting personalised patches inspired by the Buttons, Badges, and Blazers exhibition at the museum. To kickstart their creative journey, participants will also have the chance to explore the exhibition and draw inspiration from the fascinating display.

About Katie Taylor: Katie Taylor, the talented local artist leading this workshop, brings her passion for crafting and creativity to this engaging event. As a  freelance costume professional and member of Gloucester’s creative community, JOLT, Katie has experience working on costumes for Disney, Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and Welsh National Opera.
