Enjoy a friendly chat with Museum experts on a range of fascinating historical topics relevant to the Collections at the Museum of Gloucester. The Museum holds around 750,000 objects, and this is a great opportunity to experience some of the less well-known items in storage.

This Discovery Session is with Doc Saurus!

View some of the amazing fossils from Gloucestershire and beyond which offer a fascinating insight into the geological history of the British Isles, or bring your own fossils for identification. How old is the Earth and when and why did life begin? Find the answers to these questions and more with the Museum's resident palaeontologist.
